1. Calooh Callay
Jen is an interior and graphic designer living in Germany blogging at her site Colloh and Callay. She blogs about all the good things in life: design, fashion, food and travel. She is using the fun theme from fabulous themes from Pretty Darn Cute Design. This theme can even be used for ecommerce if you want to go that way one day!
2. Mara Dawn
Mara Dawn is the owner of her own creative design studio and her lifestyle blog shares her passion for design but also a lot about her daily life (including one little one at home). Mara is using the “Hero” WordPress theme from Theme Trust with a lot of modifications to font and colour with her own child theme. BTW, her fonts are amazing. Mara is using Brandon Grotesque for the body and Abril Fatface for the headers. Both font she uses are from Typekit – a monthly paid service – but you can also pay for the web version of Brandon Grotesque and Abril can also be found for free at Google Fonts.
3. Makers Society
The Makers Society blog is curated by a group of 7 women. “Each bringing their own set of skills and hobbies, from graphic design to coding, floristry to sewing, baking to photography and styling, we love to share our knowledge with others and learn new skills through our blog and through our classes.” They are using a blogging theme purchased on theme forest that comes with a TUN of options for your design and layout (15 different homepage/blog layouts!).
Celestine is the lifestyle blogger behind Fernaly. Celestine is a barista in Philadelphia and therein lies her passion: specialty coffee. However, Celestine has a definite gift and eye for design as you can see in her blog posts (she also co-founded this design studio). She is using the free Twenty Twelve WordPress theme with her own modifications to font and colour.
5. Wipper Berry
Wipperberry is a lifestyle blog full of projects and recipes for those creative and crafty types. Her site uses a WordPress theme marketed towards food bloggers but definitely works well for a lifestyle blog as well.
