I’ve put together a list of some WordPress blog themes for creatives that will surely cause some major blog envy. All of these themes are well crafter for the creative entrepreneur looking to grow their online presence. All of these themes come with different layout options and lots of options for customization to make them your own.
New seller to Creative market is a female french blogger, graphic designer and theme developer: AO Blog Design. Her Peach Dream theme comes with different options for layout, a custom bio widget and 2 levels of navigation to highlight categories. Her WordPress themes run on the popular Genesis Framework (free with purchase).
Francois is a beautiful and clean WordPress theme. There’s not a pixel out of place on this theme. I love the homepage layout above with the 4 latest posts highlighted in masonry layout. Other options include a slideshow and your blog can be viewed in either list, masonry or grid view.
This is one of my favourites from Pretty Darn Cute Design (another female coded WordPress shop!). Here themes come with extensive tutorial support (over 20 videos showing you how to work with your theme). You also get 6 different layout options and widget options above and below each posts. This premium theme comes ready for eCommerce if you want to sell some of your creations!
If you don’t want to get to bogged down with a lot of setup and customizations then Lilian is a simple, clean and modern WordPress theme perfect for your creative blog.
Gratify is another well designed blogging theme. Features include a large post slider, sticky menu (scroll and the menu follows you), widget ready sidebar, theme options panel and post signature.
Ok. I’m cheating here – I’ve already blogged about this WordPress theme but had to include it again (it even promotes itself for being for creatives). Visit the link below to see 3 totally different looks to their homepage!
Finally, I end this list on a high note with one of Creative Market’s most popular themes: Mani! This theme can work with all types of online creatives: lifestyle bloggers, food bloggers, fashion bloggers, illustrators, travellers… you name it. Plenty of styles and layouts to give your online home your own creative space!
